The joinery of Schmidt Olbersleben GmbH in Thuringia has been a family company for 7 generations, placing a great emphasis on quality work and quality products, satisfied customers, motivated employees, fair prices, careful and considered planning, as well as tradition and innovation.
Alexander Schmidt took over the joinery in 2010 and transformed it into a modern and innovative furniture and construction joinery. Now, the latest technology, such as CNC machines, is combined with the experience of several decades and put to practical use.
Since the 18th century, quality windows, doors and gates, fences and many other items have been manufactured from wood in the joinery. In the furniture joinery, among other things, stylish dressing rooms, high-quality fitted wardrobes and individual kitchens are crafted by hand.
In 2015 the workshop was extended by the construction of a warehouse and storage hall. The goal of creating more space to accommodate the machinery in order to be better able to respond to our customer’s wishes was realized. In our joinery it is important not only to manufacture workpieces according to the requirements of planners and architects, but to respond individually to every customer wish and to manufacture products to meet their needs.
Careful interaction with our customers, high quality products and, not least, a high level of commitment and team spirit from our staff have helped our construction and furniture joinery gain a very high reputation.

Joinery has a long tradition in the Schmidt family and has been passed down from generation to generation. The founder of this tradition is the mater carpenter Christoph Johann Schmidt. …
